Panel Manufacturing

Panel Manufacturing is the practical execution stage of control panel engineering, where approved electrical designs are transformed into fully assembled, wired, and tested electrical panels ready for site installation and operation. The process begins with panel enclosure selection and fabrication, considering factors such as IP protection, material type, size, ventilation, and environmental conditions. After mechanical fabrication, electrical components like MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, terminal blocks, busbars, and meters are mounted according to the GA (General Arrangement) drawings. This is followed by internal wiring using color-coded and ferruled cables, ensuring neat routing, proper segregation of power and control wiring, and adherence to safety standards. Once assembly is complete, panels undergo rigorous testing, including continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, functional testing, and sometimes factory acceptance tests (FAT) to verify correct operation.
